Dr. Joseph Urash

Dr. Joseph Urash is board certified in both the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and The American Board of Family Physicians. A native of the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, he graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Columbia University General Hospital. He served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at NOVA Southeastern University. Dr. Urash has published articles in The American Journal of Dermatopathology and Comprehensive Therapy.

Dr. Urash founded the Dermatology Center of Shelby in October, 1999, with a commitment to provide compassionate medical care and informed education to his patients. To this end, he participates in community skin screenings and lectures throughout Cleveland County and surrounding areas. Dr. Urash is married and has four young children. He enjoys the outdoors, spending quality time with his family, golfing, and is a die-hard Minnesota Vikings fan.

Phillip Talbert

Phillip Talbert grew up in Tucker, Georgia and earned his B.S. from the University of Georgia. Phil is a graduate of Emory University Physician Assistant Program in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed his residency at the Yale Physician Assistant's Surgical Residency Program in Norwalk/New Haven, Connecticut.

Prior to joining Dr. Urash, Phil worked in emergency medicine and spent nine years in family practice in Lawndale and Fallston.

Phil has a wife and two sons. He enjoys cycling, running, hunting, and watching UGA football. Often, you can find Phil on the soccer field coaching one of his boy's teams.

Both our very qualified and experienced Licensed Clinical Aestheticians offer free consultations for the various cosmetic procedures offered within the practice. They answer questions and provide detailed information that helps each individual make informed decisions regarding cosmetic procedures. They also provide a variety of innovative treatments for those patients interested in easing the signs of aging and environmental damage to their skin. The protocols for all treatments have been designed and/or approved by Dr. Urash.

Linda Sewell

Linda Sewell is a Licensed Clinical Aesthetician. She completed her training at the National Aesthetics Institute of Charlotte and has been examined by the North Carolina State Board. She has certifications in numerous laser procedures including hair removal, spider veins and sun spots, and also has extensive experience with microdermabrasion, customized chemical peels, nonsurgical face lifts, and rosacea.

Linda enjoys cooking and spending time with her family. She loves exercising and is a member of the Charlotte Roller Girls.

Kimberly Deel

Kimberly Deel is a Licensed Clinical Aesthetician and Aesthetics Instructor. She has advanced training in chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and laser procedures such as hair removal, non-surgical facelifts, and vascular treatments.

Kim is licensed to perform permanent cosmetics micropigmentation procedures (permanent cosmetics), and specializes in eyeliner, eyebrows, lips, and aerola repigmentation.

Kim enjoys traveling, being on the water, home remodeling, cooking, and spending time with her family.
